i wish i was joking, sanremo festival is the weirdest thing a foreigner could ever experience.
Italy is truly a place of songs when outside there’s death, to quote “boris” that is of the most famous italian tv show.
explaining sanremo to you is quite impossible if you don’t live it.
it’s 6 days of complete madness, collective hysteria: a whole country fixed on songs, memes and outfits.
there could even be a coup d'état happening and we would be too distracted.

provincia is yes a real place but i’d define it more as a state of mind.

looking for a new year’s party is the most stressful task i’ve ever done.
i spent all day fighting with friends on where to go and there are not many clubs in an italian small provincia.
eventually, we came to a solution.
the party will be at a leftist cultural association and the name of the party is “the odyssey of the brothel”.
i wish i was joking.
