I think a more interesting place than Thailand, which is pretty saturated these days. It was good in the '80s but not so much now. Vietnam is more like back then in Thailand. Seems the Koreans have discovered it; for golf!
Just got back to my mothers birthland for the first time in 9 years (Zambia) and I canβt recommend going back to your roots and touching grass enough π
