I'll confirm the Bronson (for milsurp styles) and J. Crew Giant Fit chinos/cords (more generic casual) recommendations are both good. Uniqlo, Buck Mason, and Gramici (hiking vibes) should also have good options.
If you're going vintage, PRL Andrew or Hammond pants are great in linen or cord or chino. Both straight leg, Andrew is a double forward pleat, Hammond is a double reverse. My linen Andrews bounce and flow in ways that make me happy.
Dickie's makes some good pants for cheap, the main downside being the polyester in their blends. But they look cool. Workwear-styled. (For the confused, workwear doesn't mean "clothes you wear to work," it means "clothes construction workers might wear to work.")
Evan Kinori, Studio Nicholson, and Scott Fraser Collection are doing cool things if you wanna spend money. Or you could always go bespoke with a brand like Rota.
Aaaannd as one more twist... I've gotten good Gucci pants for a very good price on eBay, there's more out there if you want to look into that. Especially worthwhile if you want to find a flared leg.
