The eating experience works best when all ingredients are from the same value class. For example, adding some amazing heirloom tomatoes to a sandwich that has average quality turkey won't elevate the package. Your better bet is to simplify and use those great tomatoes on an amazing bread, with just some mayo, salt, and fresh cracked Tellicherry pepper, and MAYBE some great fancy bacon.

spread that mayo / mustard / butter / jelly right to the crust and all four corners. leave no patch of bread dry. it may make the difference between a good sandwich and a great one

-Look up grinders local to Philly/South Jersey. make the sauce on the side so it’s not a soggy mesa -Incorporating horesradish or a good Dijon can help cut down on saltiness you’d find in deli meats if that’s not your thing

I'd NEVER pay for a algo-driven, ad-saturated social network...so even if it's purely symbolic in the long run, I just upgraded to demonstrate with my wallet that there is a market for this cool community.

I know I'm not cool. That's why I appreciate the PI community for letting me play at being cool. I feel like a hipster pollywog with a protective froggie parent letting me explore the pond safely. Sure, at some point I'm likely to get snatched up as a seagull's breakfast, but I'll enjoy the pond while I can. Thanks.
