Make a fun list instead of internet shopping

Just in your notes app or whatever. It scratches the same itch as making the purchase. And then you have the whole list there to consult when you have extra money to buy something fun - but the cool thing is if you let the list sit there for a whole you usually dont even want the thing anymore. And then if time passes and you still want it it feels more worth it! Honestly get it out of your mind and on a note and it interrupts the shopping cycle.

- top 5 songs of each month! - quote log.. so many words of wisdom shared on this platform i need to collect them all - affirmations! or alternatively, ins and outs for the new year! - social bucket list for 2025... super big on hanging out with my friends so really just a list of things i want to do with my friends - probably will divide the list by season - on that note, seasonal to-do lists! - cravings.. i've kept a list of my cravings this past year and it's been really interesting to look back on LOL - worries of the week/month. i've maintained this list for a while, and it's rly comforting to look back on it and realize that i overcame all those worries + it's a grounding reminder that everything really does work out

i make one at least once a day, grocery, people i like, clothes i want not need, pastries i like, good coffee shops, etc. (this is a list too! wow! look how easy)

Feta dip for snackmaxing at home

I eat this with apples and nectarines, sometimes as a sandwich spread. 6 oz feta 1/4 c olive oil Fat pinch of nutritional yeast Fat pinch of za’atar Diamond kosher salt 2 small cloves of garlic Plain full fat yogurt to your taste, add as you go Just Mash it all together until it’s creamy but not full liquid. But mince the garlic first makes my day like 15% better when this is around 🛒 if you live in LA (you prob know this) go to super king or Armenian and Greek delis for Huge chunky chunks of feta for like no money

car horns with different sounds per the intention of the honker

This is more of a suggestion to car manufacturers than a recommendation. I think it would be a good invention for them… there are so many different reasons to honk at someone but the honkee never knows the honkers intention unless it’s obvious. Like, if you’re driving and you notice a hazard that you want another car to avoid, there should be A well intentioned honk beep. If you want to punish someone for driving dangerously, there can be a mean beep sound. If you see someone you know or want to signal neutrally to someone else, non driving related, there can be a greeting beep. If there’s a protest or you drive the same car as someone else, solidarity beep. And so on
