Bojack definitely isn't a light series. There's a lot of comedy such as character names, side plots, running jokes, etc. while the show itself can get sort of depressing. Despite this, the writers manage to balance the two pretty well. I personally find Bojack my comfort show for this reason. Overall five stars.
