List of web radios as an alternative to spotify

Ads!! I hate ads. If I'm not using the scroll feature on Spotify, it's also easy to fall into my old playlists time and time again. I've been using these radios to branch out: - Radioooo (radios from different decades corresponding to country) - Poolsuite (audio/visual retro lounge space) - Lofi.cafe (lofi beats to play in the background) - Plaza.one (vaporwave radio and visuals) - Radio.garden (access radios across the world, and what they're playing now) I've found that I can even play some of these with my phone locked.

one of my fave despair-less places on the internet! lets you choose almost any country from the world map + a decade, and gives you songs from that place and time. fantastic to discover music i would’ve otherwise never known ❤️

rewriting memories

I’ve been having big writer’s block recently as well, and I’ve been finding that rewriting things that have happened to me is a good way to just slowly inch back towards creativity. often I’ll write about a “what if” situation - like this situation actually happened, but what if the ending was different? what if that friend decided to confront her bf about the cheating and threw out all of his stuff while he was at work? what if I did respond to that random ad I saw in the paper?
