Director recommendation: Gregg araki

Gregg Araki makes films like no one else. one of the most important voices of the new queer cinema of the 90s, he is the king of these strange and angsty underground independent films that have this DIY feeling and follow mostly queer characters. Nowhere (1997) in particular is an absolute masterpiece and a personal favorite of mine.

A fan of his films… maybe not the man himself… Also anything on criterion to be honest. Would throw in Jean Luc Godard, Krzysztof Kieślowski, Agnes Varda etc.
