Basic I know, but my favs aren't the ones that he's known the most for. The King of Comedy may be my favorite film ever. After Hours + Age of Innocence + Mean Streets.

Disgraceful mention for Billionaire Boys Club and Baby Driver; sadly I cannot erase Spacey from these movies.
Not a movie but Iād be remiss if I didnāt mention La Casa de Papeles!!! oh my god everything from the names of each character to the character development and dedication to explaining everyoneās back story!! Lupin as well!

Its a toss up between Paterson and Only Lovers Left alive for favourite of his films. They both display romantic love in such a rare and moving way.
Most of my fav movies are by directors who havenāt really made enough films yet to be solid favourites (mostly because they arenāt white men whoāve been given all the opportunities), but directors who are getting there for me are Boots Riley, Emerald Fennel, Cathy Yan.
