Today I was surprised with gifts from my “students”. I teach English to immigrants parents at my child school. I felt honored so honored by their gifts. I also brought homemade cookies.
They aren’t creepy just sweet!!
So far it’s been:
Freshly grown shiso
A small Japanese wooden box for drinking sake
A clay mug from Mexico
Origami
Not technically a gift but better lol - recommendation for a different job 😭🙏 (ally)
it's so nice to give someone a little present based on their interests or just something you cooked/baked, it makes my heart fill with joy <3 i hope people love it
there is nothing better than making someone feel appreciated and valued when they’ve helped you out!
bonus points if you bake them a sweet treat to accompany it
