Three people - historians- live for a full year on a farm as if they were in Edwardian times in southern England. Each episode focuses on a month, like fishing, farming, mining. It’s kind of like little house on the prairie survivor, and very charming!

A British reality show about a gang of hippie archeologists that ran on BBC channel 4 for 20 seasons from 1994 to 2014. In each episode the team is given access to a historical site in Great Britain for 3 days in which they scan the area using “geo fizz” and work on digs which uncover remains and artifacts. Each episode ends with the team having a pint in the local pub. I watch this when I’m tired.

Public broadcast show featuring archaeologists and geophysicists (nerds, lovingly) who have three days do exploratory digs at sites around the UK. They could find an ancient Saxon burial, but usually it’s just a lot of talk about digging trenches and finding what may have once been a wall or something lol. Endlessly soothing and there’s hundreds of episodes on YouTube, I dream in time team at this point!! The digs also actually benefited real research teams. They could pick up where the time team left off once a site had been confirmed to be significant (without having to shoulder the cost of the exploratory digs)

I’m a project manager for a prepared food company, and the majority of the projects I work on are soup. We’re mostly private label, so we make the store brand soups in the deli section for most of the big grocery stores. One time at a big meeting our boss got a cameo from the “no soup for you!” Guy from Seinfeld to pump us up (?)
