Yes it's a tourist trap and that's exactly the point. I will almost always hoof it on over the bridge if there's time. You'll hear like six different languages during peak hours and be surrounded by people who are so stoked to be alive and in the moment. You'll see people Facetiming lovers, family, etc... you'll see people hugging, kissing, laughing, taking pictures, etc. Some dude carries a huge python on the bridge sometimes. One time I saw a couple bring a foldout dining set, candles and all... And the view!? It's so beautiful. Even better now that they are no longer pitting bikers and pedestrians up against each other.
