especially if you’re like me and eating dinner late tn!!!! now it wont be midnight and there’s so many dishes to do which means i dont get overstimulated and wait to do them in the middle of the night when i am of sound mind

Putting hot water on the dishes before washing them

My mom used to do this, but when I moved by myself I lost the habit mostly out of laziness. Now having put myself through enough hardship of scrubing oily pots, I'm back to putting hot water in all my dishes before washing them. Takes little time and it's a life changer
