It’s short (under 300 pages), very well written and original, and includes fictionalized versions of some real life people. It’s a look at NYC during the 80s so a bit historical.
I have about 90 pages left and it’s a very long book but trust me once you start reading you’ll get through it quickly because it’s just so good
It’s about a teacher in 2011 who is told to go through a portal to the fifties and live there in order to prevent jfk’s assassination and it is So incredibly interesting
It’s Stephen king but it’s not horror so it’s just his super fun casual style but with such a cool historical fictiony premise and it is so so good
you've probably alr heard of this book but if you haven't read it I def recommend you do! its only 159 pages and it reads kind of like a very tame fever dream. my review of the book was: "made me want to die, in a good way" so do with that what you will
