- DO NOT MISS the Louisiana Museum. I loved it and I don’t care that much about museums. Beautiful grounds and iconic exhibits!!! - Explore the shops in Nørrebro (if you don’t like kitschy/artsy shopping then maybe not) - See link for my biggest rec!! Community dinner in a converted church, random seating to meet locals, cheap price tag!!!!

Louisiana art museum - great reco from someone else on here. Modern art not your thing? Walk around the beautiful ground. Ny carlsberg glyptotek - the building is a work of art in itself. Tivoli - didn't go on any rides, just enjoyed the gardens. Good food hall next door. Rosenberg castle - v pretty, wish I got to explore the gardens. National museum - I have never seen so much gold in my life. Broens street food - I walked by when it was closed but looked like a cool place to grab a bite and hang out by the water.

went to a few smaller shows at loppen in christiania, probably my favorite venue i got to see. they host a good variety of people and genres but i was really happy to catch a lot of great local artists!! also check out alice (@alice_nbro on ig), more amazing variety and they’ve done shows with some of my favorite musicians ever. there are other good venues but those are the two i’d recommend most. i’m always saying some of the best music right now is coming out of denmark and i stand by that! also, i went to study urban planning and saw a lot of crazy funky architecture i’d recommend checking out if you’re interested. copenhill is nuts and worth going to just to walk up/look at it. also østergro, i didn’t eat there but did get a little tour, really awesome rooftop farm! making my sister go back with me to all of these stops this summer lol cannot wait

Seconding Louisiana, even if it is a day trip away, it’s the most stunning museum in the world. Great store, great museum, great outdoor space, that’s 3/3. Bang & Jensen is a nice spot for a coffee and gets lively in the evening. If you walk from the central station after checking out Tivoli (not worth the entry fee, looking from outside is enough lol) down Istedgade, you’ll pass by some cute stores, cafés, food spots and end up at Enghave Plads. If you wanna go out, Basement usually has sommmmething interesting. Blågardsgade has a bunch of different bars, Sorte Firkant is my fav - nice staff, great taste in music, and depending on the evening some sort of performance/DJ/concert!

These are my favorite food (only slight hyperbole). I recommend, in no order: -Kettle brand -Kettle brand air fried -7/11 -Lay's Kettle Cooked These chips are so strong that they will burn your tongue. They are chemical perfection that make the systems in my body dance. They are so rock and roll. No matter what size the bag, I will probably finish the bag. I always eat the folded ones first, and then move to the unfolded ones.

If you’re within an hour walk from home, you should just walk home. I understand taking public transit or an Uber there to be on time, but you’re not rushing to get home. Thus, walk.
