Apparently it’s important, esp for smaller breeds. I use this poultry-flavored toothpaste my dog goes nuts for, and after he sits still for me I reward him by letting him chew the toothbrush a bit. It’s become a sacred bonding ritual for us.

It’s super easy, and it is a fun treat that will keep them occupied for like 15 minutes or more! It’s just dog safe foods in a bowl with some water, and then pop that thing in the freezer. The simplest one I’ve done is just a scoop of his everyday food with a tiny bit of water to soak it all and make it a big popsicle. I usually add some “fun” things to it, so it is a special meal for him. This time around I have: 1) wet food, dry food 2) wet food, dry food, carrots 3) wet food, dry food, bottom layer of peanut butter I have also added dog treats, blueberries, applesauce, apple slices, and other dog safe veggies. One time I made one with blueberries and peanut butter then before I gave it to him I put a little dollop of cool whip so it was like a dessert!

i just thought about how my dog has never had a slim Jim before .. and I couldn’t go on knowing I would deprave him of one. I gave him half of a small one and he ate it so fast and looked so happy, I bet that was the best junk food he’s ever had in his life Don’t take the small things for granted ❤️ give ur dog a little slim Jim as a treat

This NYT piece from last year explains why it’s actually a Good and Normal thing to do. I used to have like six in the bed at once but recently culled my crew to two practical ones: this sleeping Charmander plushie, which I hug while I’m in the fetal position, and an Ugly Doll I put between my knees because it’s nice and flat. They're so comfy and I fall asleep in 30 seconds like this (also they’re cute and I love them)

in Chrome is going to settings --> privacy and security --> site settings --> JavaScript. Under "not allowed to use JavaScript" add the sites you want to access. This is the only trick I've found that works 100% of the time. Video players and widgets that use JavaScript won't work of course but if you want to read something without a pop-up telling you to turn off your adblocker followed by another pop-up saying you've reached your article limit this will do it.
