On Saturday mornings I go to a little cafe that, importantly, does not serve brunch. Just very good bread, very good sandwiches and some baked things. I get a flat white coffee — theirs is silky and rich and the best one in Auckland (I usually drink black coffee so this is a weekend treat) — and a cookie, and sit outside and watch people crossing the intersection. Weekday mornings I like buying a good croissant and eating it on the walk — or, for a treat, saunter or dawdle — to work out of the paper bag.

sometimes drip coffee, sometimes an iced oat milk vanilla latte. i love the croissants at this local coffee shop called rock creek. so soooo delish or if i’m feeling really chic i walk around the corner to le fournil, a cute little bakery who makes THE best croissants youll ever munch <3
