TODAY marks a year ago since i met samia and saw her play a full set for the first time. was thinking a lot about this album on the drive home tonight and how it encapsulates a couple different feelings i could never even try to articulate. it speaks for me at times and for that it means the whole world to me

a genre-bending, cinematic pop debut for the ages
it's a little criminal how good this is. like damn, save some for the rest of us
it takes such a brilliant artistic vision to craft something this airtight. like i'm not sure i could find a flaw if i tried. and she had some stiff competition in 2020 so that's saying something
like it's artsy, but it's fun! but also emotional! but also filled with bangers! and it remains so cohesive! what more could you want??
lightning in a bottle. an absolute star making turn. she was fucking born to do this
