The seas are terrifying, and there's so many tales, both tragic and heroic, of just how terrifying they can be. I feel like I don't give enough credit to their unpredictability and immense power. Spend some time watching and reading some of these stories - or even storm chasers on youtube and think about what some of those storms could do in the middle of an ocean, hundreds of miles from land, where unsuspecting people are traveling on a vessel dwarfed by the surrounding treachory. Scary stuff (that I just cant get enough of).
