It sounds almost dystopian to say, a lot of us can’t do anything without YouTube or noise to drown out all the noise we experience in one day. I go to sleep with this on in the back and the visuals either on a projector or dim lit laptop screen.

When I'm working I like to have something playing in the background. Usually, that comes from youtube. As I've mentioned previously in recs - sometimes it's Kenji videos, but often it’s random ambient youtube playlists. Whether it's ambient forest sounds, libraries, or whatever your favorite fictional world is (yes I play ambient harry potter music), there are endless several-hour-long videos on youtube for you. This is ASMR at its finest.

The best sleep-soundtrack is not thunderstorms or white noise or waves. It’s Simlish. It’s Buy Mode. It’s all the familiar sound-effects.

I feel like this is what's most comfortable for our brains naturally. I know some people prefer silence but I feel like it just makes sense that humans would need ambient noise (I listen to rain sounds) and possibly some dim light to sleep comfortably. for me the dim light is to fight that fear of the dark/unknown and the ambient noise because humans haven't slept in super quiet houses for the majority of our existence (correct me if im wrong) so I think it makes sense that what's most comfortable for us would be a bit of background noise, even if it's a fan or soft rain personally I keep a fan on and do thunderstorms or basic rainfall depending on my mood. although I hate that there are so many ads on those videos and really don't want to check my spotify wrapped in a few months and see 100000 hours of rain sounds so if you know of any channels like that that consistently have no ads let me know lol

This is one of my favorite albums of all time! I listen to it at least twice a week. I recommend anyone who wants to feel like an action hero (or villain) for the next couple hours to listen to it. I miss albums like these that feel like blockbuster soundtracks. The brutal rave production, the in-your-face vocals, the mix of underground grit with a high-gloss pop finish on top… bring back cinematic rave music!

I feel like everyone should do their yearly rebrand. Not in a corny way “new year, new me” way. I look at life through the lens of a popstar. Popstars I grew up listening to had different looks for different eras. That’s what I base my version of rebranding on. Life is performance. Performance is art. Art is self. LOL

I think this is a world I’ve always lived in and every gig I do, I try to recreate the energy I felt through the screen.
