I’m southern and my mother told me it was “classless” to have an accent and use these phrases. So obviously I’ve incorporated them into every professional setting possible. It’s the fastest way to disarm.

- “telling a yapper not to yap is like telling…” and saying a different ending i.e. “a butterfly not to flap its wings”, “a shark not to swim”, etc.

In this doggy dog world— anyone can find out how to say something right judt by going to the liberry. I’m not going to say anything jurassic, instead I’ll be pacific.
