I think over time this album is getting more love deservedly so, and people are recognizing the gem it is, but when this came out, dare I say a lot of people were likely a little disappointed. Disappointed there was no huge single like an Electric Feel, Time To Pretend, Kids, etc. Thatβs not what this is though- itβs more of a concept album, a lush, thrilling, 43 minute soundscape paying no heed to commercial sensibilities. Siberian Breaks on the second half of the album is a masterpiece, a multi act, 12 minute journey- twisting and turning to a satisfying conclusion that shimmers and fades into the next track.
