I love that not talking to someone you’ve ended things with has a name now and that we all share with each other how it feels like being wrapped in barbed wire while your skin is on fire and all you want to do all day is scream. good to know that I’m not alone!

For example someone I hooked up with once in college posts on Instagram and I’ll be like oh look it’s my ex or with a guy im really casually seeing I’ll be like omg my boyfriend is going to be there….
This is incredibly not revolutionary or new but it just makes me and my girlfriends laugh and maybe that’s because I spent years being a Chill Girl and it’s so cathartic to just label things for fun!

I need to share this list I made because it is such a blessing to me that I can just open youtube or vimeo and watch these lovely little movies. there’s a range of them like bergman, tarkovsky, polish films, art-house, weird matthew gray gubler short, experimental horror, short films from the 20’s. how fun.
