📖
I bought this book months ago, tried to read it and gave up because for whatever reason, it seemed boring. Tried again yesterday and wasn’t able to put it down. It was perfectly paced and gut-wrenchingly intelligent and made me want to curl up on my couch and read it all over again.
Total masterpiece. Nolan put words together in a way I’ve never ever seen before. Please please please read this book.

This was a true delight to read. I’m slowly working my way through all of Moshfegh’s works, and her imagery and writing is so beautiful, even when she’s describing the most cruel and disgusting things. I LOVED this book!!! Finished it feeling a little more human.
