If you work a 9-5 and don't have a big deadline coming down on you, don't start something after 4pm, its not worth it. 3PM is alright, maybe you can crank something out, but 4pm is for finishing things up and wistfully looking out the window until you can not work anymore.

Get down to business around 3pm. no afternoon slump, and it’s 5 o clock before you know it!

I work from home so it's really tempting for me to just leave my work computer in "work" mode overnight - docker containers running, IDE hanging, slack notifs popping off, a bajillion tabs open. Close that shit down at 5pm. Aside from acting as a ritual to transition from work-life to life-life, it also gives you something concrete to start the next morning with while the coffee kicks in.

Be it a fun chill day or a work day, don’t shy away from a 3pm start. 4 hours of being tuned-in is better than 0. A non-negotiable for the self-employed. Sometimes when I exercise in the morning it unexpectedly goes south and takes me out…for a while .. LOL embarrassing. what can ya do but get back on the horse 😤🫡

Its a web app that people submit 1 song per week and then everyone gets to vote on the all the different songs but their own. After all the rounds have been completed, the person with the most votes wins! Its a fun way to share music with people and get competitive. Been using this app with other online communities and friends for a few months and have really been enjoying it. NOTE: I created a PI.FYI League where the first submission is this friday. I limited it to 25 people for now not sure if I should open that up to more but it would be pretty overwhelming to have more than 25 songs to listen and vote on.
