Maybe because I'm so familiar with it now, but all of the dialogue feels like it is set up on a T-ball tee for every character to knock predictably out of the park (in an endearing way.) Plus, Bernie Mac, I mean c'mon.
My parents (and now my siblings and I) love this movie. I’ve seen it a bunch of times and it remains one of the funniest. The Johnny Candy / Steve Martin dynamic is unbeatable.
