not convinced by the plot, or the acting, but is it a leave your brain at home kind of drama? Yes, obviously, absolutely.

Only half way through and have maybe conflicted feelings about this film, which tracks an industrialist familys various foibles and debaucheries in the early years of the third reich But If you’re going to watch a film that takes this approach to the subject— focusing on politics and morality, aristocratic degeneration, the particular place of family drama in history— I think it’s a pretty good one. There’s a sort of tragic Shakespearean valence to it all Good “european art house film about fucked up rich people” movie

❤️ DOGMAN, but truly bleak. Very unpleasant, but also entertaining af. Builds to shocking ly sad yet oddly soft & surreal ending. DOGMAN comes to mind for THIS prompt is cuz it's the canonical example me and my gf joke about as like, we thought we were going to see a charming movie about an Italian dogwalker, but left the theatre w crushed souls 💔

Sometimes you try your best and everything seems to hit the fan no matter how much you try, so you take that raincheck and take yourself out for a day.

This is what I call it hahahah made by mums everywhere but the greased up version is sold along stalls in Mumbai. Two regular slices of white bread, buttered, and the middle filling is cream cheese with red onions, coriander/cilantro, tomatoes and some minced chillis. All veggies chopped mini cube size so they blend with the cheese. Toasted crispy.
