i've tried all the apps and they all try to do too much, a muji pen and cute notebook of choice are all you need at the end of the day

i carry one everywhere i go, so if i have an idea, an observation, or just want to spontaneously journal out in the wildy, i write it down in the book! i enjoy writing with a nice pen vs typing on my phone and it's kind of therapeutic? it makes you feel more present with your thoughts since there are no notifications to distract you! also you get to practice your hand writing!
the pocket notebooks i use are field notes (grid) and moleskine (blank)
i also love writing with muji pens hehe

look I like the little moleskine journal or similar as much as the next guy but they absolutely suck to write in. get you a clipboard and put some cool stickers on it and buy some legal pads. they're disposable instead of precious. iterate. throw away pages. use your favorite pens.

listen i got bit by the bug back in college when naked juice got in trouble for mislabeling their ingredients and i got a check for $2. but in the past year or so i’ve made $300 EACH from cases against zoom, tiktok, and t-mobile in which they misled consumers or misused our data. this is the last vestige of justice out there. companies are evil and they should be paying for it and they should be paying me!!
at this point in my career i get targeted ads for these things because i actually click through the links but i can share some of the firms in the comments if you’re interested 👀
