2. Immediately fly to Cinnabar Island and surf the cost, catch a Missingno Pokémon

4. Profit from wild duplication of whatever item is in your 7th position. Say hello to an unlimited supply of rare candy/master balls/whatever floats your boat.

The best part of the game was never the Pokémon themselves, but the schoolyard lies about the game that you & your friends would tell each other at recess. For example:
“Dude. If you manage to walk on every space in the game just once without repeating a step, you get deoxys at level 100 instantly.“
”you can get a shiny starter if you release your actual starter into the wild & complete battle frontier with completely involved Pokémon“
and then theyd show you their gamesharked cheat code pokemon & youd believe them & let your blaziken go.
I think my favorite is rayquaza. i Just remember thinking he was sick as hell.

3) Combine these two things to create the perfect travel companion
4) Get on a train (or a plane or an automobile)
5) Boot it on up and watch the time disappear
6) Get too invested in the game and decide to stay on the train past your stop
8) Move somewhere farther away from work so you have more time to play Pokémon on the train
9) Announce your Pokémon achievements to your fellow passengers
10) Become known as the “Pokémon Person Of The L Train”

This is literally an impossible ask tho so I’m gonna just go ahead and say the entirety of gen 1-3. Side note when I was young my cousin gave me his old GBA with pokemon crystal on it but the cartridge was busted so it would only work if the game boy was plugged in and I spent hours getting suicune losing the save because the charger came loose, and doing it all again. So also suicune cus I had to fight for that sumbitch with my LIFE
