Doing crosswords for fun, and not taking them seriously. I abuse that check button, and I love the trivia, puns, and brain confusion. Bonus points if you do them at work on the clock. I can suggest the LA Times ones, hosted on the Washington Post.
They have grown from a way to pass time on my commute to a tether of sanity and order I cling to in this increasingly unstable and unreasonable reality.
do it in your phone if you want but it’s better with a good old fashioned pencil
