(Provided culture is good). I’ve been doing CrossFit less than 6 months now and am almost always the token very confused person in class who needs a lot of form questions and hand holding. Everyone has been so nice helping me figure out where things are in the gym or how to lift the things better (legit I am this emoji now!). So it just feels great to be learning and getting stronger each time I go!

Beyond shocking development for anyone who knows me off the internet. I’ve gotten so strong and feel like a badass lifting the big bar over my head (and then waddling around the city for days afterwards remembering what I did). Never thought I’d do something like this but I’m so glad I gave it the ole college try and am putting that rec out to anyone else who has hesitated about CrossFit specifically but wants to get stronger/have more workout structure/protect from injury (vs just running)/build gym community.

I used to be so embarrassed of working out with strangers but now I love it. Today was my 300th time at my gym and the teacher told the class and some of them congratulated me after :):)

it‘s weird coming back and being weaker after a few weeks. are people watching me? am i disrupting their rhythm! i feel like i’m starting over again! it’s good … but weird, too!
