Finishing at least one of the two drafts I’ve been working on since summer: 1. Draft 3ish of a YA Fantasy novel (basically 4 chapters’ worth of significant/complicated rewrites left 😭) 2. Draft 1 of a Contemporary Romance novel (23,000/65,000 words so far 🤞🤞)

finishing my first book.

After 20+ years of "rock criticism" for various magazines/outlets, I turned in 70k words to my publisher and will have a book about the best EPs (extended plays) ever released coming out in mid-2024. 44 other people contributed reviews, opinions, essays. It may very well be a niche interest (a family member called it that, ha) but I'm excited for people to read it.

Finishing what you started

I finished a book for the first time in a year yesterday. It was “my year of rest & relaxation”. Immediately after finishing it, I picked up another book & read 40 pages in a night. Will likely finish that book before the week is through. This will continue.

alright hear me out: carbonation and coffee with a squeeze of orange shouldn’t work, but it does. Been making them daily and i feel a lot better in the morning each time i do
