most beautiful writing system eva. the letters transform and morph into each other as you put them together. i always found it really interesting π€ how some forms of islamic art specifically avoid images of sentient beings (because of the sin of idolatry/the idea that by drawing a living thing you're giving the image sentience (a lΓ doodlebob)*) so theres a lot more exploration into the decorative power of the written word and geometric shapes, which is honestly pretty awesome to look at if your brain has been fried to a crisp by psychadelics like mine has. **

Been seeing a lot of "the bird" lately. And though I've definitely flipped my fair share of middle fingers and peace signs in my youth, I find myself defaulting to "the shaka" or "I love you" in sign language. I'm super inspired by the many ways one can make hearts with two hands as well as mudras. Gonna try different things and see what feels right.
