Every morning I wake up and make breakfast and coffee and sit back down at my desk to eat and just vibe for a little while. This is usually video game or crochet & TV time to warm up the brain a bit and it is the highlight of my day every day

I work at a coffee roasters and usually have about an hour or more to myself in the morning and it’s so fun. I jam out and sip my coffee with glee… it feels like the equivalent of taking a shower that’s the only way I can describe it. 😆

I wake up, roll over and wake my dog up if he isn’t already awake. I think it is so supremely cute and makes me feel loved how excited he gets when I say, “Good morning!” He is also really patient and if he notices I’m awake, but I haven’t said anything to him yet, he will stay where he was laying and wait oh so eagerly for me to greet him before he crawls up to cuddle. After I get some time to pet him, I get out of bed to pee and brush my teeth. I feed Oz dog, and get him ready to go get coffee. We walk to the coffee shop about 10 minutes away. The baristas all know him and are obsessed with him, so he gets little treats. Sometimes they even give him bacon or sausage. When it is too cold to make the long walk, we go to the place basically eighth across the street from my apartment. They give out pup cups, but their coffee isn’t as good. Better for Oz, not so much for me. On our way back, I usually check the little free library. When I get home and my coffee is about half finished, I’ll smoke a bit and set out to start whatever project I’ve got to work on that day be it dishes, or laundry, or writing, or making jewelry. Something about mixing caffeine and thc gets me in the right mindset to really get shit done.

It’s really not that hard and always worth it. “It’s their job” yeah it’s their job but that doesn’t disqualify you from showing some appreciation for the person that’s been behind the counter since 5am. It builds community and good for the soul! Why do you think I’m the most beloved patron in greenpoint!! Just watched a “cool brooklyn girl” slight the tip at breakfast get out of here with that shit this should be the basics!!

One of the best things I've seen in years. So perfect, so playful, so Python-esque! Exceptionally up my alley in every way. The egg yolk scene is such good directing and just simply divine.
