Hi! I have this same issue recently. Although best with the inner good parts, if you do a light sear with a little oil you’ll get a semi crunchy leaf. It’s annoying because you have to watch it like a hawk and 15 seconds is the difference between delicious / burnt. ANYWAYS, did that and essentially made a really basic ‘salad’ (IDK if you can call it that) with pancetta (bacon works too), some grated cheese (Parmesan works best), and a little balsamic vinaigrette and I consumed it at an alarming rate. 10/10. Does require some additional ingredients though lol. Attentively: I save them and toss them into soups. I’ve sliced them THIN into a ramen bowl, and I’ve made chicken soup with them too. Hope this helps!

Extremely underrated way to consume prosciutto (or similar meats) is by getting it a little crispy in a frying pan. Especially good if you’re a crispy bacon girl. Throw it on some pasta for a little crunch and crisp!

I know it sounds crazy, but trust me it's so good! All you need is radishes (sliced into however you want! or keep them whole, that's totally fine!), and just roll them into the butter or use a knife to spread it, and a sprinkle of sea salt, and enjoy! it's so simple, and the flavor and texture combo is out of this world good. delicious thinly sliced radishes with a knife on a mandolin (but be careful!!!) with proscuitto and parsley in a sandwich (or on a flatbread/cracker) as well Also check out Ploughman's lunches!! it's basically that exact vibe and I'm sure there's some inspo on pinterest!

-thinly shaved fennel bulb—shock in ice water to make it extra crispy -quarter some pitted castelveltrano olives -lots of parm -dress with olive oil, lemon juice, black pepper add some of the fronds too to make it cute yummy and the unused olives & parm can last a while in the fridge so you don’t have to worry about what to make with extra ingredients right away

florinegrassenhopper riotgrrrl brendanooooo slowdazzle buck_mcgraw and indianjones — we did it. Not only did we successfully meet for drinks, but we also schemed the hostile takeover of this app from tyler tonight. In all seriousness — weird that an app I downloaded in April would make genuinely want to drive back into Brooklyn during end of day traffic for a happy hour. Great app filled with great people.

I feel like there’s a special connectivity on this app that I haven’t felt in a long time, maybe since early 2010’s tumblr. The fact that you can’t promote yourself like IG is wonderful. The fact that there isn’t mass video content like Tik Tok is great. It’s not this monetized / paid sponsorship app. People are here because they want to be a part of something with nothing to gain besides friendship. Seeing the URL -> IRL meetups warms my heart so much (waiting for an NYC or Brooklyn meetup). Thanks for your participation on this niche little app. I smile reading all the recs and all the comments and all the asks. Hope we’ll all be here for a long time.

I think a life rule for me is to surround myself with people who know more / are smarter / are cooler than me and just absorb their aura by listening / observing them. It’s made me the incredibly smart / cool person you all know and love. I just never thought I’d feel the same way about URL friends. I’m constantly listening to the songs I see posted here, reading the articles, subbing to newsletters, and googling topics that get tossed onto the feed. It’s nice to know you can become a more rounded person by just absorbing what your mutuals post on here. I’m going to sit on my couch, have a cocktail and digest my lovely feed. Happy Sunday!
