I'm on like... book four? Idk at this point. I just finished it and totally recommend it to any fans of the show, it doesn't follow the same timeline at all and is its own thing.
I saw one episode as a teen, it left a really strong impression and I vowed someday to finish the series. Ten or so years later, here we are! Such a great show. Highly recommend it, and I relate so hard to the detective, poor guy lol
