Kudos for having the hard conversation and not avoiding it. That’s brave.
Take deep breaths and ground yourself immediately beforehand. I always remind myself to s l o w down.
If you have time, think of your fear/worst case scenario. How would that feel? Sit with that and think about how you’d handle it. No matter what it is, you can handle it, even if it feels awful.
I like to believe that whatever needs to happen will happen. You’re putting things into action and whatever the outcome will be for your benefit.
