memory matching game (the kind for kids) at a party with drinking

embrace the childlike silliness and fun of this and get a bunch of people standing around the table to play a couple rounds. Helps if it is a giant game, tons of cards, and is very cutesy. The presence of alcohol probably going to reduce memory skills and make for increased levity.

chunky alarm clock/radio

pretty sure i saw someone on here rec a clock radio instead of a phone alarm... now i don't open my eyes and immediately look at my phone and instead enjoy the classical and jazz from the college radio station in the morning. yes this ancient beast has a terrible speaker but the form factor is unrivaled
