i don’t know that much about movies, but i’m besties with a movie guy. i don’t watch that many shows, but i’m besties with a show guy. i don’t know that much about esoteric developments in the star wars fandom, but i’m besties with a star wars guy… etc.
one of the awesome things about having a diverse and close group of friends is that all of your collective knowledge-bases grow exponentially. i feel more capable of facing the world bc of the wisdom given to me by my loved ones - especially the ones that are most different than me
