Everyday i wear a ring that was my mum's, one that was my grandma's and one that belonged to the woman I am named after. People ask me why I wear them considering they are so precious. Why wouldn't I? Now, I carry with me the energies and love of 3 incredible women- how dare I even consider keeping them in a box?

I have a bunch of fun charms (mobile charm from a temple recently, Riddler coin in my wallet, a prosperity bead bracelet from an Indigenous artist in Taiwan, etc. etc.) but the most permanent one is the silver pendant my mum made me wear as a child and I literally never take it off except for those chest x-rays, it feels very odd to do so, I feel kind of naked without it.
