Long Time listener first time recommender of Stephen Dayā€˜s new release ā€˜Oscarā€™. I love all his recent releases and would highly recommend a listen. If you want a full album my fave is ā€œI Guess Iā€™m Grown Nowā€.

Such a sweet song. I have so much love for the people that I associate with it. I have so much love for who I was while listening to this album in 2022, and how Iā€™ve grown since then. Go listen to the whole album, Some Nights I Dream of Doors. Itā€™s so good. Obongjayarā€™s recent stuff is great too. Dear person reading my rec, do your best to enjoy the present and make good memories. Things work outā¤ļø

I don't know if this is a call for help, but I've been exclusively listening to one album for almost two months now. This masterpiece dropped in March, and I've clocked in about 300 listens, but who's counting? We are. Bonus rec, the boys and I have linked our Spotify accounts to last.fm to keep track of every song we listen to.Giveon has such a unique, well rounded, really deep voice. This is one of those albums where every song hits for me. Never thought I'd say this, but I think he may have even knocked Daniel Caesar off of my R&B artist throne.

I know all these other recs were calming and mindful, but I thought I would put this out there cause Iā€™m crazy obsessed. Iā€™ve been his BIGGEST fan for a couple of years now, and knowing thereā€™s more music coming up is the light of my life. If you have a minute, go listen to his new song basic being basic. If you have more than just a minute I would recommend listening to his other albums twenty twenty, and decide. On a broader note, go find new music! A fresh playlist always cheers me up.

Hi! So I worked at Aesop for 2.5 years in Australia where the brand is from. In complete honesty I would not recommend Aesop as a starting place to build your skincare routine. The skincare range has a lot of essential oils, that unless your skin is quite robust, can be irritants to the skin. I am of the opinion that there are other brands that are more effective and well priced to get your skincare from. If you are going to buy from Aesop, I would highly recommend their home, fragrance and body care ranges. Some skincare brands at a similar price point with more effective products are:Ā  - Dr.Dennis GrossĀ  - ElemisĀ  - Emma Lewisham - Moon JuiceĀ

A really unique perspective on the fluidity of pain (primarily in relation to chronic illness) and navigating the shifting mindset to cope with the pain. Also a really interesting take on ā€œfriends for certain activitiesā€ - a friend you go to gigs with vs the friend you go for a morning jog with. How these friendships change us. A fantastic quick read!
