At the end of 2023, I made a bucket list of resolutions for 2024. Looking back, I accomplished about 1/3 of the things I listed. Surprisingly, I don't even feel disappointed about this, because 2024 gave me so many new experiences that I never would have thought to aspire towards in the first place. A couple days ago, I made a list of unexpected experiences I had in 2024, and it turned out to be a pretty funny retrospective for my year. I'd encourage other people to try the same thing! Most of us accomplish way more than we would expect in a year; it's just not necessarily the exact goals we were hoping for. It's cool to look forwards but it's also important to look back and acknowledge how far we've come!
