Literally cannot get off that app. One woman's trash is another woman's treasure is so tangibly true as I text the english mums about their old dresses and tops I'm buying off them for a fiver. Currently waiting for a pair of sandals from 'mumov2' which are slightly delayed because she was surprised with a little getaway last weekend. Absolutely delighted for her.

my top sites for secondhand shopping!!! i am truly obsessed with them, it is like hunting for treasure. i also like browsing depop, etsy, and vestiare, though i only have a handful of items from those in my wardrobe. i hear good things about vinted and medium things about grailed but i havent spent any time w those. i dont really use poshmark but it is massive. also check out the app called gem, it will check all these sites and more to find any keywords that you enter and email you a list of new items matching your query!

local/college radio is the absolute best way to find new music, especially when they are non-commercial and have a lot of freedom with what they play. sometimes you need to look past some bad picks but that’s part of the fun. also!! when u get into a habit of tuning in routinely you hear the same DJs frequently and get to know them and it’s so cute. AND local radio stations often run events and you can get involved and meet your favourite DJs and all of a sudden it’s not just discovering new music it’s a community!!! long live college radio!!

recently bought two novelty teapots and now I can make tea with my roommates and drink it out of a teapot that is shaped like a fireplace or like a little house. Tea and a chat is already a daily staple and silly teapots just add some whimsy. 10/10 recommend
