my personal mantra is ā€œif everythingā€™s cringe, nothingā€™s cringeā€ and it sounds so silly but it really has helped me. also i spent my teenage years burying myself under 16 layers of irony, so now anything i do out of genuine interest and curiosity feels like taking a breath of fresh air cuz i donā€™t have to justify it with pretentious or apathetic attitudes, it is so freeing

you can replace cringe with really any adjective you like, but cringe is the one i gravitate to the most. living unapologetically as my truest self is the most important thing to me as i've gotten older. the right people will be in your corner, will love your "cringe", or whatever it may be. because there's nothing as freeing as being yourself. words applicable to me that i could replace cringe with: crazy (a classic) silly annoying (lovingly)

Its endearing to not take yourself so seriously. Almost everything is cringe until itā€™s cool anyway šŸ«¶

probably not the pinnacle of healthy recs but i needed to quit soda and spicy water has helped immensely. some meals just canā€™t be had with plain water.

Drew and Enya babbling about nothing and everything has changed the chemistry of my brain forever through unhinged podcast episodes that either feel like staying up late at a sleep over with friends or like fever dreams no in-betweenā€¦ but they do have shorter content as well on their individual channels

on the same note with concerts: being in the pit actually sucked for me, i was more focused on not getting my hair pulled and being able to breathe than enjoying the show, and i couldnā€™t see anything due to the height of the stage. ended up having the best time from the sidelinesĀ  anyway, overrated: losing virginityĀ  underrated: starting over. iā€™ve had to start over again a couple of times (finishing uni, quitting jobs, changing career paths, etc.), itā€™s been scary but exciting and worth it so far
