i'm a sweaty gal and i get real self conscious and won't wear certain clothes in the summer to prevent the dreaded p*t st*ins. maybe this is just a non-man thing, i feel like when dudes are sweaty it's a desirable and masculine trait. a lot to unpack there!

this is a big "hear me out". obviously we have that whole cultural zeitgeist right now of the charli xcx sweat tour and sweat sort of being a sexy thing again and sweaty club kids and sweaty greasy indie sleaze blah blah blah. this is not that. this is not necessarily sweat as an accessory. this is sweat as an extra layer of skin. this is sweat in your day to day. this is sweat as survival. as it gets into a more humid heat (especially in nyc), you will be tempted to think of sweat as this gross thing to try to avoid at all costs. sweat is your everyday. dress appropriately. be ready to laze in it. dabbing it away gives the desperation of a cigarette smoker, while letting it sit on your face gives the relaxation of the cigar smoker. you can earn your sweat. and once it's earned, THEN you will get to understand why it is sexy outside of a few 2024 viral contexts. sorry if this is insane. also please wear deodorant. please do not smell bad.

firstly - it’s the natural scent for attraction.
secondly - shows that you’ve been working hard or working out, people, who do that have ambition and great strength.
second and a half - also sweat from dancing or being sexy is cool.
final - just sweating shows that you are a healthy person, your body is working, it’s part of the bodily water cycle.
addition - i‘ve heard that stress sweat is stinky
