Antique Shops

Antique shops have a special place in my heart because it reminds me of my childhood road trips. When I was little, I always thought antique shops were just useless junk. As I grew older, I’ve learned to appreciate the “junk” a bit more. Browsing through the aisles, they kind of feel like a time machine. My top things to look out for are vintage cameras, dutch ovens, and vintage porcelain.

Where are my fellow antiquers?

I love getting lost in the aisles and looking at all the cool junk people have collected in their lifetime. This and estate sales scratch that itch to treasure hunt. I like the soft rock and oldies they play too :O) What's been the coolest thing y'all have found? Any store recs?

I was at a café with my snoopy travel bag when the barista came up to me, held a finger to tell me to wait, left and came back holding a snoopy mug. She held it up so I could see it, smiled, I smiled back, and she left. Not a word was exchanged but it made my day.

microfriendships

this weekend a man on the bridge dropped his airpods so i picked them up for him then on his run back when he passed me he smiled and waved because we were microfriends. i will never see him again but we had our moment i just made this term up but it feels right to describe a nice little fleeting human connection drop your microfriendship stories/recs
