You can try listening to mixes uploaded to SoundCloud in your favourite genre. I normally discover one or two tracks I like in a mix by a radio, DJ or producer whose tastes I already trust. A consciously selected vibe beats generated by the algo.
If you like a DJ or producer, they might have mixes online from a radio show on SoundCloud or their own profile.

Huge collection. They’re my flagship for soul, rnb and afrobeat. I also recommend checking out the individual profiles of people who work for the show like Sasha Marie and Sahar Habibi.

RYM is an iconic website, but my favorite part is their genre and sub-genre list which is EXTENSIVE. I like to choose a random sub-genre then listen to all the top rated albums in said genre. Super fun way to find stuff.
Aquarium Drunkard is a great blog/radio/podcast. Their website will send you into a very beautiful rabbit hole of music you’ve likely never heard before. I found an old favorite Miki Hirayama via AD-plus the band/artist interviews are great.
