i saw this movie a year and half ago and still think about it 4+ times a week. haven't been able to listen to under pressure since. still feel like i'm stuck navigating between grief and healing. which...i guess is what life is??? finding your ground between the person you were with the person you'll be. anyway! aftersun ruined my life in the best way possible and it may be time to grow a pair & rewatch it.

emotionally devastating and gut-wrenching. first time in a while that I cry for 2 hours straight. My friend told me “it wasn't that sad” and I’m convinced he’s never experienced love before.

when I rewatch this movie I think of falling in love for the first time, and the self-awareness and fuckups in between becoming something new and falling in love, it’s beautiful.

i love a good movie about simplicity but this is way beyond only that. the only thing i want to eventually achieve in life is what he has: satisfaction from your daily routine, not working your ass off for a final target that will make you happy for 10 minutes but then you’ll start worrying over the next one but rather enjoying life as you live it!! also accepting yourself as you are, while trying to become a better person each and every day as much as you can!! super super comfort movie, i do not recommend but COMMAND you to watch it
