Watching a cut, burn, or bruise heal is the most gratifying experience. To slowly watch the process of your body rebuilding itself around the injury reminds you of how powerful the human body truly is. To see an armor of scab or a leathery padding of a blister is to know that your body is looking out for you. I may not see the cells moving by the second, but I wake up one morning and I am more healed than I once was.

Getting diagnosed with a dummy rare genetic disease (0.02% of people worldwide have this genetic mutation πŸ€ͺ) Having to start life-long immunosuppressants (still during a pandemic btw. And they are a DAILY injection πŸ€ͺ) Not having the energy to focus on the little pixels of my pocket screen (that energy just going to fighting with health insurance, scheduling/attending more medical shit, and maintaining this flesh bag so it stays physically present in this world πŸ€ͺ) If I missed anything that important downplay it so I don't get fomo πŸ’Ÿ
