PHYSICAL buttons. think about it…how satisfying it is to press one. the beautiful sensation and sound of a click. the immediate corresponding behavior that follows upon pressing one. the primacy of the touch screen over button has set us on the path to Hell. bring back The Button

When I bought my truck recently I was told that it still had buttons for everything; AC, heat, lights. There’s such a satisfying click clack that you can’t replicate with new cars. Those mid-90’s Toyotas nailed the button sound.

COME AND TAKE IT. In a better world, I would have a flip phone. In this world, I'm at least keeping my damn home button. Call me a luddite, but Tim Apple went too far with this one. The home button I have on my phone isn't even a real button – it's got that weird haptic tech wizardry thing that makes it feel like you're "clicking" it when you're really not. And that is something I hate, but not as much as I would hate having nothing there at all.

pure curiosity
there are a lot of big and small reasons to keep going but they can be hard to see when you’re deep down in the well, so to speak for whatever reason the thing that kept me going was knowing that the ever-changing nature of the world means that things can’t stay the same way forever, wondering how things would change, and being curious enough to stick around and find out
